An uncorrected UK proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy ) SIGNED at the half title by Tom Courtney who played Billy Liar in the 1963 film. This is a clean copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are unfaded, showing tiny creases at each of the corners. '21st September' is written at the top of the front cover. The spine is sound, solid, unfaded and intact. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are lightly soiled and are spotted. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. This copy has been SIGNED by Tom Courtney. Given the fragility of proof copies, this is in reasonable condition. Uncommon.
