Weil, Simone - Seventy Letters
Translated and arranged by Richard Rees. A UK first edition, first impression.
WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It is unclipped and the spine is unfaded. It has been graded as Very Good because it is bruised and creased at each of the corners - though much of this is now rendered innocuous because the wrapper is covered in removable protective plastic. Looks much better than its grading.
BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners are sharp. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are unmarked. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
