The gilt lettering on the spine and front board is bold. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are tanned. The binding is tight, the hinges are sound. There are no dog-eared or loose pages. There is a contemporary ( 1905 ) gift inscription at the top of the half title page. A nice copy.
