A UK first edition. Original blue cloth titled in gilt. No wrapper. The book is square and tight. The boards are sound - the back board has white spots on it. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages are clean - no foxing. The closed page edges are tanned and slightly dusty. The endpapers are browned - the leading edge of the ffep is chipped. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
