Wells, H G - The Treasure in the Forest

An early and uncommon UK collection - undated, but from the late 1920's / early 1930's. A volume in the Novel Library series, this copy being in the scarce dustwrapper.

WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and unclipped. It is unfaded. It is chipped at each of the corners and shows slithers of loss at the spine ends. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is tight. The boards are unfaded and the corners are sharp. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean, though ( as ever with these titles ) the text block and closed page edges are browned. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
