UK first edition. Scarce and fragile. Original tan wrappers lettered in black. The book is bright and tight. The front and back covers are light soiled with edges that are inevitably worn. There is a nick out of the upper leading edge corner on the back cover. The spine is bright if creased as usual. It is a little worn and bruised at the ends. The pages are clean and bright. The closed page edges are a little soiled. The binding, though fragile, is tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions - there is an ornate, contemporary book plate on the reverse of the front cover. An attractive copy of a fragile item.
