WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. It is toned at the spine and to the very edges of each panel. The spine ends are nicked as are each of the leading edge corners. Overall, an attractive example of an early wrapper.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean - there is a touch of fading to the leading edge of the front board. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are bright. The binding is solid, the hinges are solid. There are no dog-eared or loose pages. A good looking copy in a protected wrapper.
