WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It is unclipped. It is lightly worn at the edges and a little scuffed at the spine ends. The spine panel has darkened. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are toned, lightly soiled and are spotted. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There is what looks like a contemporary ( 1917 ) ownership inscription at the head of the title page. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
