Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It has been printed on the reverse of a wrapper for an F E Mills Young novel. The wrapper is unclipped, showing the price 7s 6d on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded. It is gently rubbed to the edges and there is a small nick out of the top edge. The bottom edge shows gentle creasing. The spine is sound. It is gently toned and shows light scuffing and rubbing to the ends. The back panel is sound, showing light overall soiling and a touch of light rubbing to the edges. There is a small, invisible split running up the leading edge / back flap crease.Book : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners and the spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are slightly toned and slightly dusty. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
