A UK first edition, first impression.

Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Christopher Mason ) is bright, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright. It shows a trivial hint of rubbing to the top and to the leading edges. Unusually for this title the orange spine is UNFADED. It is however lightly toned and shows occasional spotting. The back panel is bright and vibrant, showing a touch of gentle soiling at the leading edge. Looks sharp.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners on the front board are trivially bruised. It shows a hint of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are dusty and are flecked. No foxing. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A decent copy in a protected wrapper.
