We previously bought and/or sold this book in the following, or similar, condition:
Not published due to a disagreement about the book's design. The publisher though distributed the 120 copies that had already been produced to his friends. Loosely inserted is a printed slip explaining this. Also inserted is a TYPED, HAND SIGNED LETTER from the publisher (Asa Beneviste) explaining exactly what had happened. The letter is addressed to Alan Tucker. Additionally this copy has been INSCRIBED to Tucker by the book's illustrator, Tom Phillips. A fine copy - no inscriptions, no fading, clean pages, tight binding - in a very good ++ wrapper that is unclipped and complete. The wrapper shows slight toning to the spine, a closed tear (2cm) at the bottom edge of the front panel and light wear to the top of the back panel. A nicy copy of an uncommon book.
Book Condition: Fine Wrapper: Very Good ++
