Original black cloth, ornate gilt design to front board. The book is in nice condition. The boards are clean if gently bruised and rubbed at the lower edges and corners. The spine is sound - the spine lettering is difficult to read. The spine ends are gently bruised at either end. The pages are clean. No foxing. Both the text block and the closed page edges are slightly dulled with age. The binding is solid with no loose pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions.
